1. For the Water-Tree (Neeru-Chettu) programme launched by A.P. Govt an estimated Rs.87.61 crores have been allocated for 1611 works in Chittoor District.
2. As a part of A.P. State's Water-Tree (Neeru-Chettu) programme, sand excavation activity is being pursued in close to 71,828 lakes in the state.
3. To analyze the capacity of Palm-Oil processing units and the expenses being incurred for them, a committe has been appointed by the Garden Crops Department.
4. To meet the Annual Agricultural loans the A.P. State govt has allocated 7813 crores, in an overall budget Farm budget of Rs.65,272 crores.
5. In, A.P for cultivation carried out by Drip & Sprinkler irrigation methods, the farmer's contribution has been reduced from 50% to 30%, with the Govt bearing the rest 70% costs.
6. Enhancing the prospects of Paddy farming in coastal areas (Salty Ocean areas), two types of rice varieties MCM100 & 101 have been developed by a Researcher from A.P.
