1. The Central Govt has filed a case on Nestle for Rs.640 crores with NCDRC(National Consumer Disputes Redressaal Commisssion) under CPA (Consumer Protection Act).
2. The Cabinet Committe on Economic Affairs (CCEA) might consider providing 50% subsidy on deisel purchased by Farmers.
The Central and State Govts would bear the subsidy burden equally.
