India Agriculture News - 16Nov'15 !

1. India and Brazil signed an MOU agreement to engage in collaborative projects for raising productivity of cattle and buffaloes in a meeting between agriculture ministers(National Dairy Development Board -NDDB and EMBRAPA) of the two countries in New Delhi.
2. Rice prices may surge in the coming months as stocks are depleting fast on the back of deficient rains and fall in output, a study by industry chamber ASSOCHAM said, urging the government to closely monitor prices and stocks as the domestic demand for rice is huge.
3. With crop output decreasing due to heavy rains, Tomato prices reached an all time high of Rs.90 per kilogram for High/Superior grade Tomatoes in Asia's largest Tomato market of Madanapalle in Andhra Pradesh (INDIA). The range of Tomato prices varied from Rs.36 to Rs.90 for low to high quality grades in two telugu states of A.P and Telangana.

4. Due to depression in South of Bay of Bengal, Moderate to Heavy rainfall is being observed in Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, Rayalaseema Regions of A.P in India and the cyclonic trend is expected to continue for the next 2 days.
